Cornerstone Concrete Designs, a new division of Advance Ready Mix Concrete, Inc. was created to assist the homeowner who is interested in adding decorative style to their hardscape in the form of concrete.
Recognizing that concrete is becoming an increasingly popular option for outdoor areas, we are excited about creating a unique design that incorporates color and texture into the natural surroundings of the home. In January, 2008 we added the Grace Liquid Color System at our Shelby Street plant. The Chameleon system uses liquid pigments that are suitable for integrally colored concrete driveways, pool decks, patios and walkways. There are dozens of colors to choose from as well as different finishing options, providing versatility as well as affordability.
Cornerstone Concrete Designs was an idea that came to our owner while she was “shopping” for a new driveway. There were many things missing that made the experience less than appealing. Therefore, Cornerstone was started to help the customer navigate their way through the process of selecting a style, choosing a color palette, and having the concrete installed by a reputable company that has been in existence for almost 30 years. It is our objective to provide a comfort level for our customer that ensures satisfaction with their decision. After all, a unique hardscape is one of the most permanent impressions that will be made to any residence.
We encourage you to visit our outdoor showroom at 161 N Shelby Street where we have several samples of stamped and colored concrete available for you to view. We have found that it is helpful to compare different patterns and color combinations all in one location. And we are happy to educate you about the process as well as the benefits of decorative concrete.
